Information Technology Training Subcommittee

This subcommittee is no longer functional. 

The purpose of the Information Technology Training Subcommittee (ITTS) is to assist the ITCC in carrying out its tasks of identifying IT problems and opportunities, recommending solutions to the State CIO, the 
ITPC, and promoting IT training and practices that enable resource sharing and collaboration among 
state agencies.

The ITTS objectives include the following:
  • Regularly survey the IT training needs of the enterprise and identify potential IT training gaps 
    • encourage collaboration between agencies with common training needs
    • when appropriate, make recommendations regarding acquisition of IT training
  • Encourage the development of a common IT training calendar for all agencies 
  • Encourage the development of an enterprise IT training catalog
  • Coordinate with other committees and groups on work product related to IT training
  • Encourage agencies to share materials and experiences in a formalized IT training knowledge-base
  • Advocate for professional development paths within the IT workforce

Monthly - Every 1st Thursday at 2:00 p.m.
