Cellular Mobile Device
- Enhanced Service Service Description A cellular mobile phone is a long-range device used for voice or data communication over a wireless network. In addition to the standard voice function of a cellular phone, today's ‘smartphones’ support many additional services such as text messaging, email, access to the Internet, access to Google Apps and GPS. ETS currently has contracts with Verizon, AT&T and Union Telephone for voice and/or data devices.
Customer Benefits
Cellular devices allow a customer to dial and receive telephone calls; with a smartphone customers can check email, calendar events, access Google Apps and access the internet over a cellular link while being mobile, as long as a cellular service is available to the device. Customer Responsibilities To request this service, please submit this form or email ETS-workoder@wyo.gov. The customer will need to identify the type of device needed, as well as the billing account information. ETS Responsibilities ETS will work with the cellular carrier to issue a handset or a data device and assign a phone number. Additionally, ETS provides a central point for purchasing, repairing and troubleshooting all state-owned mobile equipment. Service Level Objectives The following criteria are the quality of service benchmarks established as the expected performance goals of this service.
