State Information Technology Governance

The Wyoming State IT Governance Program establishes a framework for providing information and recommendations to the Chief Information Officer to ensure effective and efficient use of technology throughout the executive branch. The program identifies the decision rights and accountability framework to encourage desirable behavior in the use of technology.

The Wyoming State IT Governance Program is based on these guiding principles:

  • Alignment
    • Ensure technology related decisions do not impede or hinder the execution of the Governor’s priorities
  • Collaboration
    • Establish partnerships with state government business users and private sector technology leaders to enhance the implementation of innovative technology.
  • Transparency
